1 Q. What is the benefit of membership?
A. Only members can book places to use Clubmotorsport facilities. Clubmotorsport is for members only and their guests. We will only e-mail members who have booked additional information about booked events such as entrant lists, driver changes, timetable of events etc… We send all members reminders of Le Mans events at which we are present. Many of our longstanding members have become great friends as a result of visiting our site at Le Mans. The camaraderie at Clubmotorsport is second to none with longstanding members not only from the UK but worldwide. We do not pass membership information to any third party. Members may also download images from our Gallery and Archive. Many of these are high resolution that can be printed for personal use.
2. Q. What drinks are available at the real ale bar?
A. We normally have two real ales plus a good quality lager like Kronenbourg 1664. The real ales can range from Fullers London Pride, to popular Kentish ales from independent microbrewers. Some canned beers such as Old Speckled Hen and Bombardier are kept in reserve in the event of the firkins running dry. All the ales are constantly cooled to around 55° F. We also serve selected Red wines & chilled White wines. Iced soft drinks such as Coke, lemonade and fruit juice are also available.
3. Q. How much are your drinks?
A. We keep our drinks prices at private “club” level and are therefore usually cheaper than the local bars and especially the track-side outlets.
4. Q. Do you have TV coverage of the race?
A. We have a large projector screen showing the race and constant race commentary from Radio LM.
5. Q. Is there electricity available at the Le Mans site?
A. For the purposes of charging equipment such as cameras and phones, a number of power sockets are made available for use at your own risk.
6. Q. Do you cater for vegetarians?
A. Yes. Speak to our chef Derek on arrival.
7. Q. Can we consume our own beer whilst on site?
A. Yes, but only near your own tents and not around the covered hospitality area.
8. Q. Are there separate showers & w.c.’s for females?
A. The ablutions are permanent & unisex: seven H&C showers, eight w.c.’s and separate urinals.
9. Q. Can we park our cars next to our tents?
A. For the 24 hour in June we separate the parking from the camping to ensure good availability of shaded camping and maximum safety for people and cars. The whole site is relatively small so you are never far away from your car. For the Moto GP and Classic the volumes of people are generally smaller so this arrangement is more relaxed.
10. Q. How often/at what times does the Shuttle run?
A. There will not be a shuttle provision in 2023.
11. Q. Are there any shops or restaurants on site?
A. Food is included in Basic Package. We serve breakfasts and evening meals over 3 days Friday, Saturday and Sunday, normally with a two or three hour window - exact times published at site. Choice at breakfast is a Full English, usually consisting of egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, French bread, tea & coffee or Continental usually consisting croissant, pain au chocolat, brioche, French bread, fruit & yoghurt, tea & coffee. For any additional requirements, about 1 km/10 mins walk away (secs. in most cars!) there is a Supermarche, Boulangerie/Patisserie, Tabac/Bar, Bistro/ Pizza place plus a typical French restaurant.
12. Q. When is the live music?
A. Live music provision is pending for 2023.
